Champions Funding Releases New Consumer Purpose Non-QM Loan Product Geared Towards Helping Non-U.S. Citizens Achieve Homeownership
GILBERT, AZ (May 25, 2023) – Community-focused Champions Funding announced the launch of expanded consumer loan products to include ITIN Activator. The quickly growing Non-QM Lender is fulfilling and honoring its mission-focused lending of serving the underserved and promoting community development. This is the philosophy behind the launch of the newest and most inclusive loan product yet– ITIN Activator.
Whereas traditional agency loans require a Social Security Number (SSN) for loan approval, Champions Funding has opened its Activator product to include financing options for non-U.S. citizens who live and pay taxes in the United States. Rather than a SSN, interested homebuyers and borrowers provide their Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
President and Chief Operating Officer, Natalie Verrette says, “Champions Funding is proud to provide a means for an increased number of homebuyers to access financing. The inclusion of ITIN in our consumer product means additional creditworthy and tax-paying borrowers will be given the opportunity to realize their dreams.”
